Home Modification
The home modification program provides accessibility, safety, and security. Many homes are not equipped to house individuals as they age. There are structural barriers that can impinge upon an older individual’s independence without modifications. Bathroom modifications include rubber suction shower mat, grab bars, toilet chair, shower chair, adjustable shower head. Other modifications considered wheelchair ramp, door widening, rubber door threshold, motion-sensor indoor nightlights, and safety flashlights.
Geri-Fit
Geri-Fit is an evidence-based health promotion program designed exclusively for older adults. Geri-Fit helps rebuild strength that has been lost through the aging process to help ensure a higher level of function as older adults continue to age.
Matter of Balance
A Matter of Balance is a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and improve activity levels of older adults living in the community, thus reducing the number of falls and injuries from falls.
