Senior Centers

CAAC currently administers 20 Senior Centers in the tri-county region – 5 in Autauga County, 5 in Elmore County and 10 in Montgomery County. The centers serve as the focal point for senior services in their communities. They offer a nutritious lunch meal, opportunity for socialization, recreation, exercise, health screenings and educational programs on health, nutrition, safety, wellness, benefits and other topics of interest to seniors. Most of the centers also offer transportation for seniors who are unable to drive.

To be eligible to receive Senior Center services, a person must be at least 60 years of age or older, or the spouse of an eligible senior. There is no charge to attend, but voluntary donations are encouraged.
