CAAC develops an annual Area Plan on Aging which defines the region and its population, identifies the needs of its seniors and describes the agency’s plan for meeting those needs. This Area Plan is submitted to the Alabama Department of Senior Services for review. The Older Americans Act funding from Alabama Department of Senior Services is dependent upon approval of this plan.
